Even A Tsunami has a Ripple Effect...

by Miracle Chasers on 03/23/11

We talk so often about miracles (after all it is an occupational hazard for us) that we don't always highlight the other side of the coin - that while miracles happen, so do calamities of such epic proportion that it is difficult to understand how the human spirit could survive them.  When we are the observers, as most of us are in witnessing the tragedy in Japan, it is difficult to simply imagine putting ourselves in one of the photos. The anguish is palpable and raw and from faraway it all seems somehow unbelieveable; and yet it moves us.  Faith and miracles are hard to talk about in the midst of human suffering, but the faithful voices in this CNN article offer intrigue as well as comfort. http://religion.blogs.cnn.com/2011/03/20/finding-faith-amid-disaster/

May we pray for those who have suffered in natures Tsunami and count our blessings we are fortunate to be drenched in Gods Tsunami of love. My sister Jill and I made some miracle chase book bags back in Jan. after I was inspired by your book. She and I both carry the bags to grocery stores and work and the bank and it is a good conversation opener. Along with that we have tried to spread the word and share your book with as many as we can. Tonight I talked with my sister who lives in a small town in California called Porterville, she said that 2 of the 3 books I left her have already rippled out to the town in a miraculous way. Jill works in a dental office and one day her and I are talking on the phone and one of her patients who happens to be a pastor over hear us talking and inquired, Jill told him about the book and said if you read it i'll give it to you as long as you give it back or pass it to someone else who would read it, so he took the book, next time he came in for his visit she asked him, had he read it, he said "No" because I needed to pass it on to one of my parishoners whose child was diagnosed with cancer, Jill said, "no worries i hadn't started reading it either, when i gave it to you, but I know is it has a powerful message my sister has told me all about it", he went on to say, "you have no idea what an impact this book had on this woman, she is comforted." He then went on to say, he has now passed it on to 4 others in his church since her. Jill said the other copy has gone through 6 people at her bank ,each one loving it and feeling the ripple effect of paying it forward and feeling blessed to be in the Tsunami of Gods love.
